Gift cards not loading properly

If you come across a situation where your gift cards are being applied to a guest check but the balance is not loaded on the card this very well may be because you have not paid the check yet.

For fraud purposes AppSuite does not load the gift card balance on the card until the check has been paid and closed within Micros.

When you add a new gift card to the system and then VOID the card before paying the check it is important to know that the card is now registered in the system but with a $0 balance. If you were to need to use this card in the future you should re-load the card vs trying to create the card again.
