Modifier Groups Library

Module located: Business => Menu => Modifier Groups Library

The purpose of this module is to configure all of the needed Modifier groups that will eventually be linked to the menu items. Once you have added all the modifier groups you can click the "Connect" button to choose which menu items you will add this to.

 

To add a new modifier group click the "Add modifier group" button at the top of the screen.

Title - This is the name of the modifier group that will be displayed to the users.
Modifier Group Type - 
This is the type of modifier group. If you choose Modifier then all the options below will be modifiers, if you choose Menu Item Upsell then all the items listed below will be menu items.

NOTE: Menu item upsell will be displayed to the user just like any other modifier, but when the user adds this item to their cart it will add this item as a separate menu item.

 

Once the modifier group has been added there are other options that need to be configured:

Select One / Select Multiple - Single select means the user can only select one modifier from the below list. Select Multiple means they can select more than one.
Multi Max -  If select multiple was checked then this setting will be visible. This setting determines how many of the modifiers the user can select
Quantity - When this is enabled it will allow the user to select the same modifier more than once.
Required - Does not let the customer add this item to their cart without choosing at least one option.
Default - This modifier will be select by default when this is checked

 

Edit - When you edit this modifier group it allows you to add or remove modifiers to it.

NOTE: After you make this change it will NOT update all linked items


Edit menu items tab - This tab allows you to change the name of the POS items that were pulled in.

You have an option to remove this item from showing in the list. This will not remove it from the POS

If you want to undo the items you have deleted, select "show deleted" and then deselect the deleted checkbox.


Edit modifiers tab - This tab allows you to change the name of the POS modifiers that were pulled in.

You have an option to remove this item from showing in the list. This will not remove it from the POS

If you want to undo the items you have deleted, select "show deleted" and then deselect the deleted checkbox.


Image Library - This tab allows you to add images for all your modifiers. These images are only used on certain modifier themes configured on the menu items.

 

Directories - These are ways to organize the images that you upload. This is optional

Once you have added the images you can drag and drop them to the modifiers you wish to add them to.


Ingredients - This tab allows you to link to together ingredients into groups in order to then assign those to a modifier. This allows AppSuite to roll up the nutritional info of the menu item based on the modifiers and the adjustments made in the cart.
